Lauren Mathias review for Illinois Skin Center

Had a terrible experience here. I came in for small bumps on my face that I wanted to treat before my wedding and what seemed like a large pimple on my stomach. I was put on tretinoin for my face. When I had my checkup after about a month, the doctor came in and asked if I was there for Accutane because he overheard someone in the lobby talking about it. Not sure why he didn't check my chart. Then he proceeded to somewhat laugh and make an exaggerated sad face when I said my skin had actually gotten worse, and put me on an increased concentration tretinoin. At the next checkup, when the bumps were still there, he told me I wasn't using enough tretinoin (I was using a pea-sized amount) and that I could use up to 2 finger lengths worth. This is contrary to everything I've ever heard any other dermatologist say, and no alternative was given for my face bumps except potentially burning/lasering them off? I am very unimpressed with the level of professionalism and would never go back here.
